The patient gives their information once. CareRequest structures it at source and delivers it straight into the clinical system—accurate, complete, consented and auditable before it ever reaches the record.
Across primary care, patient information often begins with a phone call, email, web form or other patient-access interaction — then gets interpreted and manually entered into the GP PMS or pharmacy PMR.
Every additional transcription step creates an opportunity for information to be incomplete, inconsistent or inaccurate.
CareRequest changes the data journey at source.
Patient information is interpreted and re-keyed before it reaches the clinical record.
The request is captured once, structured with context and consent, and delivered directly.
EHDS raises the quality bar downstream. Better data in means better data through.
From patient request to clinical data
Traditional data journey
Patient provides information
Phone · Email · Web Form · Other Access Channel
Information interpreted
Information manually re-entered
GP PMS / Pharmacy PMR
With CareRequest
Patient provides information
CareRequest AI
Conversational patient access
Structured Care Request
Patient information · context · consent · validation
GP PMS / Pharmacy PMR
The information is captured once and structured before it enters the clinical system.
No unnecessary re-keying.
No unnecessary transcription layer.
A cleaner data journey from patient access to the clinical record.
Why this matters now
The European Health Data Space is creating a common European framework for electronic health data.
Importantly, this is not only about moving data between systems.
EHDS specifically provides for data-quality requirements covering:
for relevant personal electronic health data registered in EHR systems.
That changes the conversation for clinical software providers.
Making a system interoperable is only part of the challenge.
The quality of the information entering that system matters too.
The data-quality gap
A PMR or PMS can support interoperability standards.
It can exchange health records.
It can provide logging and auditability.
But if the information originally entering that system has already been manually interpreted, abbreviated or incompletely transcribed, interoperability simply moves that information more efficiently.
Better health data needs to start earlier.
At patient access.
That is where CareRequest sits.
CareRequest
CareRequest is an AI-enabled patient-access layer that connects patients directly with the clinical systems GPs and pharmacists use every day.
Instead of allowing the patient request to pass through unnecessary transcription stages, CareRequest captures and structures the information as the request is being made.
Patient information becomes structured data at source.
That structured information can then be delivered directly into the clinical software workflow.
One simple principle
The European health-data infrastructure is becoming increasingly structured and interoperable.
CareRequest applies that same principle to the beginning of the data journey.
Patient Access
Capture the patient's information.
CareRequest
Structure, validate and preserve it.
Clinical Software
Deliver it into the PMR, PMS or virtual-care platform.
Connected Health Ecosystem
Exchange higher-quality structured health information.
Why this matters to PMR & PMS providers
For a clinical software provider, patient access is no longer simply a front-end experience.
It determines the quality of the information entering the platform.
CareRequest gives PMR and PMS providers a way to improve that layer without replacing their core clinical system.
Structure the patient request before it reaches the clinical record.
Move information directly from patient access into the clinical workflow.
Reduce the information loss that can occur through repeated interpretation and transcription.
Start with structured information that can map into the healthcare data standards used downstream.
Maintain clearer provenance around how the patient information was captured and transferred.
The regulatory signal
The European Health Data Space Regulation is now in force.
EHDS establishes the framework for interoperable electronic health records across Europe and introduces requirements around EHR interoperability, logging and the quality of electronic health data.
The Regulation specifically requires the European Commission to establish data-quality requirements covering semantics, uniformity, consistency, accuracy and completeness.
European infrastructure including MyHealth@EU is being developed to support the exchange of electronic health information between Member States.
The direction is clear.
Clinical health data is becoming more structured, more interoperable and more auditable.
CareRequest brings that direction upstream to patient access.
The opportunity
The most important point in the data journey may be the first one.
The moment the patient provides the information.
CareRequest allows clinical software providers to capture that information once, structure it correctly and carry it directly into the systems healthcare professionals already use.
The clinical record is becoming interoperable. The data entering it should be ready for that journey.
An intelligent patient-access layer designed around structured information from the beginning.
